The sorting system of the automatic three-dimensional warehouse is composed of a series of various types of conveyors and additional facilities control systems, which can be divided into four stages: confluence, sorting signal transmission, diversion and sorting. So what is the workflow of the sorting system in the automatic three-dimensional warehouse?

1. confluence: the materials selected from different cargo locations according to the picking instructions are sent to the pre-treatment equipment in a certain way, and collected to the main conveying line by the pre-processing equipment, which is called confluence.

2. Sorting: When the material of the signal conveyor reaches the main conveying line, the basic information of the read through the automatic identification device, such as barcode scanner, processes the read material information by the computer, which is called sorting signal input.

3. Shunt: material information is read into the computer system, continue to move on the main line, three-dimensional shelf sorting system real-time detection of material moving position, when the material to the corresponding sorting crossing, control system to the sorting instructions, classification mechanism immediately produce corresponding action, make the material into the corresponding sorting crossing, called shunt.

4. Distribution transportation: Materials entering the sorting crossing shall finally arrive at the terminal of the sorting system and shall be transported to the corresponding area by manual or mechanical handling tools.
