Is warehouse dehumidification a problem that companies are bothering about? Today I will talk to you about how the warehouse absorbs moisture. Warehouse moisture absorption can be divided into static moisture absorption and dynamic moisture absorption:
(1) Static moisture absorption. This method is to place the solid hygroscopic agent statically in the moisture-absorbed space, so that it comes into contact with the air naturally, absorbs the moisture in the air, and achieves the purpose of reducing the air humidity. The commonly used hygroscopic agents are as follows:
① Calcium Oxide (CAO). Calcium oxide is quicklime, which has a strong hygroscopicity. After it absorbs moisture in the air, it undergoes a chemical change to produce calcium hydroxide. But remember that quicklime must be replaced in time after it absorbs moisture, otherwise the generated ca(oh)2 will absorb CO2 from the air and release moisture.
②Calcium chloride (cacl2). It is divided into industrial anhydrous calcium chloride and calcium chloride containing crystal water. The former is white porous amorphous crystal with strong moisture absorption capacity. Each kilogram of anhydrous calcium chloride can absorb 1~1.2kg of water. The latter is a white translucent crystal with slightly poor hygroscopicity, about 0.7~0.8kg per kilogram.
③Silica gel (msio2-nh2o). It is divided into two types: primary color silica gel and color-changing silica gel. After the color-changing silica gel absorbs moisture, it is judged whether it has reached the saturation level according to the change of its color. Silica gel can absorb 0.4~0.5kg water per kilogram. After absorbing moisture, it is still solid, insoluble, non-polluting, and non-corrosive. The disadvantage is that the price is so high that it is not suitable for use in a large space.
④ Charcoal (c). Charcoal has a porous capillary structure and strong surface adsorption performance. If refined into activated carbon, it can also greatly improve its moisture absorption performance. The biggest feature of static moisture absorption is that it is simple and easy to use, does not require any equipment, and does not consume energy. It can be used in general warehouses and is currently a widely used dehumidification method. The disadvantage is that the moisture absorption is slow and the moisture absorption effect is not obvious enough.
2. Dynamic moisture absorption.
It uses moisture-absorbing machinery to force air to absorb moisture through hygroscopic agents. Usually, the hygroscopic agent (cacl2) is put into the box to be manufactured. The box has an air inlet and an air outlet. Under the action of the exhaust machine, air is sucked into the box, and the moisture in the air is absorbed by the hygroscopic agent. The exhaust vent discharges relatively dry air. This method of moisture absorption is relatively effective, but it needs to be continuously supplemented with CaCl2, and the CaCl2 after moisture absorption cannot be dehydrated in time. This kind of moisture absorption method is not ideal and the cost is relatively high, so it is used less. The current XSG-2 exhaust type moisture absorber is a dynamic moisture absorption device. Mainly composed of box, drawer, funnel, exhaust fan, etc. Its working principle is: due to the action of the exhaust fan, the humid air in the library is sucked into the box through the air inlet, and the moisture in the air is sucked out through the calcium chloride on the drawer, and the relatively dry air is discharged, so that the air is repeatedly circulated. The continuous condensation of moisture in the air reduces the humidity of the air. When the relative humidity in the warehouse is around 85%, 1kg of water can be absorbed every hour.
